Living in Southern
California all of my life
has given me a view of
two separate cultures,
that of the Mexican
people and Mexico and
that of the United
States.
I have not always
understood why I was
given this chance or
how to incorporate it's
place in my life and my
work. Sometimes what
is right in front of you,
is the most illusive.
The Mexican people as
I have come to know
them, are a vast
community of
wonderful people that
live their life with a
love for family,
traditions, religion, and
hard work for the good
of the all.
This experience has
given me so much and
this is a small tribute to
a diverse society with
so much history that
after 50 years this
gringa is only
beginning to
understand.
